I know it's only been one game into the season. But the Titans have a division win, (Jax) where both Houston & Indy won outside their division.
Titans should be first in their division

As said above all by the alphabet
Houston Texans 1 0
Indianapolis Colts 1 0
Tennessee Titans 1 0
Jacksonville Jaguars 0 1

f ... g ... H ... I ... j ... k .... T ...

Most sites don't worry about tiebreakers until mid-end of the seaons

alphabetical sound s good but......
Houston/Indy/Jax/Tennesee or
Colts/Jags/Texans/Titans.....
would actually put Titans 4th.

But...division standing have to do with # of wins.....how strong you won, and then the division stuff......otherwise Seattle could not have won their division last season.....having lost two thirds of their divsion games.

Not 100% sure of the breakdown...but the alphabetical stuff doesn't hold water.

Personally....I think the playoff system is a little broken. The division winners should be decided by who has the most wins in Division play....with total wins, and strength of schedule used to dtermine tie-breakers and wildcards. (Wildcards should be non-division champ teams with most wins...like now) Seems stupid to call Seattle champs of their divsion when they lost to most of their division.

*UncleDaddy....nice post. Hope you aren't dissapointed. Vince and company played the Colts hard last year.....I'm hoping for a dynamite game today. (But I'm a Who-Dey...so it really don't matter much to me who wins....I just wanna a good game.)

Brian....so J is not in the alphabet?....H-I-J-k-l-m-n.....T, got it now. I know this is a football forum, but let's at least pretend to be literate.

*edit......well, them being in third is probably accurate now, anyway............

They do the standings in alphabetical order. If this were the end of the season and they were tied they would go to tie breaker procedures. (Division record, head to head, points scored, etc)
You wont have to worry about that after today though because I will bet you $100 either Tennessee or Indy loses today! LOL
Enjoy your football season!

That tiebreaker stuff doesn't apply until there is a tie at the end of the season either in a division or for conference playoff positions. Right now it's just alphabetical.
