I don't understand why people with traditional values have problems with nudity and not with war. Nudity seems so petty next to warfare.

No, I just think Your off target. Miss Hudgens Photos were personal of nature. Not for Public consumption or publication. It's not like she a Penthouse Pet or something.

Next, nude modeling & art is as traditional as the DAVID statue or Venus in a shell painting.

Have our values changed: A bit.... In my day, singers did not show up to award shows in black bikinis to hide their lack of talent.( britney)

Not everyone shares the religious right's narrow-minded definition of "traditional values" in America." And their obsession with nudity isn't a traditional American values. And they are a small minority--they do not represent the majority of Americans.

Nudity has always been a part o fentrtainment--even back to the early 1800s. The attempt to ban this completely dates only from the 1920s.

Remember all those freedoms that our ancestors fought for? This also includes freedom of choice doesn't it? Why would you allow others to dictate your choices to you? This notion of moral or traditional values is a joke. It is far outdated. The days of moral policing are over. Your life is exactly that. Keep your nose out of mine.

"traditional values"?

Who in the hell defines those? Are you a bible-thumper? Are you the one that attempts to remove SI Swimsuit issues from 7/11 stores? I find it amazing that those who claim "moral highground" are usually the ones who are caught stuffing thier pockets full of money. "Well, at least I am not immoral."

What we have are people who don't want to be "harnessed" by what society thinks is good or bad. It doesn't have anything to do with religion unless one wants to beat that old bag to death! What makes those in the entertainment business want to show their body in the nude? That isn't tasteful and all it does is cheapen a film, play, TV programming and everything else - plus it cheapens the entertainers that allow and agree that nudity is essential - doesn't anyone have an imagination these days??

The only thing wrong with the photos is that they were taken from her or the person she gave them too and were released to the press.

People don't like "traditional values" because traditional values means that women can't vote and black people would have to sit at the back of the bus.

Yes, traditional morals are dying in America. And it's long overdue. Our society is SO unhealthy when it comes to sex. It's just another human function...what's the big deal?
