Peyton isn't going to break all the records. The biggest one is the most consecutive starts which won't be broken for many many years.
Of course Favre will break all the records because he is one of the greatest QB's of all time.
GO GREEN BAY!!!!!!!!!!

He won't break ALL records, he cant touch the Super Bowl QB record, he can't get close to the single season records (who thinks he can throw for +45 TD anytime soon???) He will break most of the QB career records. Like Bonds he will hang around till he does. If he didn't get them this year he would be here again next year and so on. So yeah he will get them.
If Payton stays healthy he will get them by the time he is done. And by that time there will be another player that is up and coming who will will all say will get the record by the time he retires.

i'm a lifelong Packer fan, ok? Favre himself says that he would not evaluate himself to be interior an analogous type as Marino. How approximately Bart Starr's (Packers) 214 right away completions without an interception, or Terry Bradshaw's 4 large Bowls?(Steelers) i like the p.c.., i like Favre, yet a lot of his records are the end results of his wonderful durability, a community wherein few quarterbacks ought to compete---different than Archie Manning (father of Peyton and Eli) and Bart Starr. (and doubtless Steve Grogan) They performed 14-interest seasons. Walter Payton could have left Emmitt Smith interior the dirt had he performed sixteen-interest seasons with extra useful communities. Favre would not even carry the only-season checklist for many bypass yards by ability of a green Bay Packer---that'd be Lynn Dickey, and that i keep in mind that season, his incredible receivers in Lofton and Jefferson, the tight end Coffman... Favre could destroy that this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days, yet he will have 2 extra advantageous video games to do it. could I commerce favre for Romo? NO. Brady? uh, no, yet i could think of roughly it. Peyton Manning? sure. Favre himself has envisioned that Manning will destroy ALL of his records. good day, do no longer hate, ok? i've got probably been a Packer fan considering in the previous you have been born, and that i keep in mind the 1st 2 large Bowls that the Packers gained, in 'sixty six and 'sixty seven. I lived in Milwaukee on the time. Favre is particular---yet he ain't God, and there is one among his records that no person will EVER destroy...the INT. checklist would be Brett's constantly. George Blanda had to play til he became 40 5 to set that one...Favre broke it this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. Brett Favre has one checklist that isn't in any respect be broken in soccer. he's extra useful than all and sundry ever became at making a stadium crammed with people say, "Oh My God!' each and every from time to time its OMG i won't be in a position to have self belief he took that hit and have been given up! different circumstances its OMG how did he get that bypass in there? and each from time to time that's OMG i won't be in a position to have self belief he threw that one---what became he thinking?

Being that this is his last year in the NFL, he will go out on TOP.... He was is not happy with the past two years and he wants to show all of his critics that he can still play.
He will break all of the records for QB's and yes those will be broken again by one of the Mannings....
He will be inducted into Canton Ohio, His first chance at the Hall.....

Brett Favre is lucky to have his job. He never should have even started for the Packers!! Don Majkkowski got screwed out of his job. I don’t know what Mike Holmgren was thinking when he gave the starting job to Favre.

Yes, the object of John Madden's unholy and insatiable lust will beat most of Dan Marino's records.
And will hold them for about 5 years, until Peyton Manning comes along and obliterates them.
Marino had 8358 attempts, 4967 completions, 420 TDs and 61,361 yards.
Madden's love muffin has 8266 attempts, 5044 completions, 414 TDs, and 57,716 yards in 17 years.
Manning, in the start of his 10th year, has 4920 attempts, 3149 completions, 278 TDs, and 37,874 yards.

probably. that's the only reason he's still playing 4 or 5 years after he should have retired. he couldn't break marinos records within the timeframe of a normal career, so he continues to play way, way, way past his prime for that sole reason. it's pathetic to watch.
