I know this girl,who is my cousin's neighbour.We met eachother this summer and we became friends.But she acted very weird with me:sometimes she was nice(she has given to me an ipod's cover),sometimes she was cold and she used to pull my leg.She used to criticize my look and me make-up(once she told me that I was wearing a too short skirt).At the swimming pool she told me that I have big boobies.She was always staring at me,even when she was talking to someone else.But also,her behaviour changes very quickly.When she used to see my cousin she usually asked him for me.And when I left the city(I was on holiday),she told my cousin:
"Is Jasmine still here?"
"No,she isn't"
"That's a true pity"she said(seeming truly sorried).
Young people of her town think that she is lesbian and when I told them that she was a friend of mine they said:"Do you have sex together?"
Men...is she really lesbian??Does she have a crush on me,maybe???Can you telling me how to recognize a lesbian,please??

To answer your main question I would suggest there would seem to be a distinct possibility that she is a lesbian. If you're asking because you are one & you fancy her I would suggest asking her rather than Yahoo answers. I would bear in mind however that her behavior seems, from what you have said, to be somewhat erratic & a touch unpleasant at times. Is this someone it would be healthly to be in a relationship with? If you're not a lesbian & are just curious than I suggest you get a hobby. I suppose one way to recognise if she is a lesbian would be if you found her kissing a lady or perhaps even making sweet all-lady love with one - that would be a definate give-away. She might be, but the only way to know for sure is to ask her if she is a lesbian. It's no good going on hearsay or playing guessing games & there is no set formula for telling if someone is gay or not.

I think she may just need some foundation in her life. She seems to be searching for where she fits in. She probably isn't a lesbian yet, but she's looking for her identity.

There is only one sure fire way to know if someones a lesbian and that is if they tell you. Until she tells you, you can't be 100% sure. From the information you have given, you can't tell if she's a lesbian or not. Honestly, she might be but she might not. So calm down and stop worrying about it.

You cannot recognize a lesbian. It just doesn't work that way. Everyone is different. Just as you can't recognize all gay men. Thats why there is this thing... called the closet. It wouldn't exist if you could automatically tell.

Well....it's tough, but it is a possibility....basically, the way to tell if someone is a lesbian is if they act around other women the same way men act around women. The comments that you have given, the staring, the ambivalence she seems to have towards you, all seem to indicate that she could be....of course, she may just like you as a friend, may just be bisexual, may be just be jealous of you and your looks perhaps....it's complicated....

The only way to find out is to ask her, just because she is acting strange doesn't mean she fancies you . In fact if she is a lesbian then she would probably be better at hiding her feelings.

She may just be uncertain of her sexuality. Heterosexual or lesbian is not the issue here. Is she a nice person or not?
Is what you should be asking. I don't think she would force you into anything you did not want.
