Florida and LSU play Oct.6 then again in the SEC Championship game.It could be very hard for the same team to win twice.USC and Oklahoma also are very explosive. At this time there are four teams worthy of a championship game.I know it's early, but at this time these are the only ones that appear to be worthy of consideration.

I think there are four teams in NCAA that are way above everyone else and they are LSU, FL, OK and USC. I rank the best offense OK, FL, LSU and USC. On defense the rankings are LSU, FL, OK and USC.
USC only has two tough opponents remaining in CAL and Oregon. I thought the PAC-10 was going to be a tougher conference this year but it's the same ol' stuff. Now that I have watched the Gators dismantle the Vols and CAL screw around with two lesser opponets then maybe Cal is overrated. So, to answer your question I think USC stands a good chance of going undefeated and if they do so, they will be a shoo-in for the BCS championship game.
On the other hand LSU and FL play each other Oct. 6 and one of them will have to lose. If they both win all of their remaining games then they will meet again for the SEC championship. It will be difficult for either team to win both games.
Oklahoma has a great chance to slip-in to the BCS championship game because they have a shot at going undefeated. The Big 12 doesn't have an answer for OK. If LSU and FL split their games then the media will cry for OK to play for the national championship.
Can either OK or USC beat LSU or FL, I don't think so and that my friend is the problem with the SEC and the tough competition.

I believe USC can play offense with anybody. But their defense isn't as great as everyone said. They have given up 41 points in 2 games. I think they will go undefeated since they play in the Pac 10 and don't play any good non-conference teams. No I don't believe they could beat LSU or Florida. It will probably be LSU since I believe they have looked the best of all teams including USC. I agree with you that the four best looking teams this year are: LSU, USC, Florida, and Oklahoma. West Va. doesn't have a strong enough defense. Hey satcomgrunt you must really believe all that crap the sportswriters are writing about the Condoms. You seem to like to say they will do this and that. I like facts better. FACT: future NFL backs don't necessarily mean NCAA championships. FACT: USC has given up 41 points in 2 games. So where is the depth. and the GREAT defense everyone said they have. Let's see what really happens in New Orleans and not some Condom fantasy.

They are better espicially at running the ball. No one in the nation has the ability to keep throwing in future NFL backs like USC, and Booty is only going to improve as the season goes along.
If USC meets either Florida or LSU in the title game, it will not be pretty. Many schools have enough talented starters to keep pace with USC, but USC's depth will show in the 2nd half. USC will probally ahead by only 7 against Florida or LSU at half but will end up winning by at least 21.
OU does not want any part of the mighty Trojans. They still have nightmares about what happened last time. West Virginia is a good team but they will not play any one like USC. For the first quarter they will be stunned about what they are facing, and that will be enough.

The National Championship will pretty much decided in 2 weeks when Florida goes to Baton Rouge to play LSU, I think Florida will come out of this one the victor, USC on the other hand is over rated and will be lucky if Cal, UCLA or Oregon doesn't surprise them with an upset. Ohio State hasn't looked real spectacular with a sub par offense, they'll be lucky to get past Penn State or Wiscosin, watch out for one of Ohio States biggest upsets when Indiana's high powered offense shocks the world and beats Ohio State (OSU score 20 points vs Akron IU scored 41 vs Akron)
Anyways to make a long story short USC doesn't have a chance against LSU or the soon to be back to back National Champs the FLORIDA GATORS!!! Two words for ya Tebow Time!

After rolling over Neb last night, I would say yes.LSU is the best team I seen this far, they seem to have it all and the speed they have is ridiculous, but you have to put SC right up there with them and Florida. Oklahoma is rolling over everyone too, but outside of Miami, they haven't played anyone,so kind of hard to say with them until conf play starts.

Yes, they are, if not better.
And OU is on a roll and a half. I don't see anyone in the Big XII being able to hang with them.
WVU's main challenge appears to be Rutgers, since Louisville can't stop anybody. Cincinnati looks to be up and coming, but I'm not sure if they're good enough yet to contend for the Big East title.

Yes, they are as good on offense. They aren't as good as OU on offense though.
