Never thought of it that way....lol....but then I wonder why is it called a hotdog in the first place? When you think about it....the word is actually a "dog" that's hot....so I do have a dog name Spike....and sometimes he's a "hot" dog (get it? LOL) because we live in Texas where it's hot all the time, but very , very few times he's a cold dog when we have the one month a year of cold weather. There's probably hotcats too, but seriously not any to eat! LOL. The English language can be very difficult to understand at times I'm sure.....but yea...to actually answer your question.....yes, I would still call a hotdog a hotdog when it's cold.....at least the hotdogs that you buy in the deli/meat section of the supermarket....haha. This is a good question....one that makes you go "hmmnn". Have a nice day. :)
