My experience with BSM is interesting.

On the day of my test, I booked a two hour lesson with a BSM instructor. Throughout the lesson, he kept making me pull over then he would disappear for ages.

Each time he came back reeking of peppermints.

After I took the test, and passed, he then had to drive me back. He drove the wrong way round a roundabout, and on the wrong side of the road.
He was drunk.

He was sacked immediately. He was an alcoholic but BSM never took up references from his previous employers. I would never let any of my children go near BSM, ever.

This happened in Fareham, Hampshire. I had to fight to get a refund off BSM. Shocking.

I had lessons from BSM, no other practice whatsoever, and passed my test first time. It was many years ago but I have never forgotten the thrill of passing that driving test. Learning to drive was one of the best things I've ever done. If you are thinking about embarking upon driving lessons, then I would encourage you in the strongest way possible.

I was taught many years ago by an ex-examiner who was brilliant. I understand BSM are a successful firm but they are only as good as each individual instructor.

red driving school - some guy he was good but forget what we did in previous lessons,

Chevron- shouted at me most of the times and laughed at me when i stalled, stopped using them, then the guy had the nerve to call at my house to go out for a drink.

Wheelers- some lad,y oh she was funny, gossip about her other pupils how they are terrible drivers, made me drive to her daugthers school pick her up drop her at her mums, drive to her mums house, drove to her house sitting in the car while was having a fight with her bf upstair and throwing his things out. DRAMA. had to change her too

and then AA they were great after a 16 lesson i passed my driving was not that bad at all i just need a pro to help bush up b4 i passed i really like my AA tutor he was great sometimes is not the driving school you go with but the tutor themselves if the they are a good tutor they will take time to teach you. however school like AA, BSM are taught in a much diferent way to like how to get their pupils comfortable etc.other schools and probably thats why ppl prefer BSM or AA although my b4 used AA but he was rude and BSM she was unprofessional and keeped flirting with him .

Good luck with your driving and dont be put off when your driving slow andyou got ppl driving so close to you or ova taking u. just remember they had to go though it as well.

I passed the first time by the way
