which type of neo realism are you talking about? if you are talking about neo realism, the artistic movement..

neo realism can also be novels, art or theatre. in cinema or in literature, it is a cultural movement that brings elements of true life in the stories it describes, rather than a world mainly existing in imagination only. there is also neo realism in international relations.

neo realism is the movement in italian cinema which emerged in the 1940s.

the prefix 'neo' means new. it refers to a revival of previous trends or ideas.
