I have MAME 32 and have a couple of games put into the rom folder but can't get them to work?

I go to file and audit all games but it still says there is no games available...grrr. Help!

Lets start off with what everyone leaves out:

WHAT ROM? are you trying to play first off.

Second goto Options and then click on directories. When this box opens ROMs should be in the drop down box, and in the are below directories should be the path to where your ROMs are if not then click insert and create it.
