I had Iftar yesterday in our village (close to Mansoura) and I'm still in the rural mood. And since you seem to be a great master of the "Tawaguen" have you thought of Roz M3ammar with Pigeons or (Meat)?

Such a traditional dish, easy to prepare but rarely eaten. I don't know why... but I love it.

Now to the other extreme from the deeply traditional to the extremely European... A few moments ago I was day dreaming of a tender Duck a l'orange with sauteed vegetables.

Mmmm...Roz m3amar with Duck a l'orange, I must be having one of those halucination fits caused by fasting. Any way I hope you can come up with something useful from whatever I wrote above.

You are very unique a tolerant male who can cook and obviously cares for family and friends. You really deserve a star.
But sorry I don't have any good recipes maybe you could make lentil soup (a good Egyptian stand by) and then a yummy baked or grilled fish main course with a mixed green salad. Followed up by ice cream and fresh fruit salad.

One of my favorites :
*Prepare an amount of chicken breasts, use the food hammer to spread them as large as you can
*Swab the breast with the following: Olive paste, pizza tomato paste (sold ready in the market
*Fill the breast with Mozzarella cheese and then roll the chicken breast with the previous mixture and tie it with a rope
*put the chicken rolls in the oven till they are done (do not use butter as you have already cheese inside)
*In the meantime fry some cubes of potato and dip them in tomato sauce (can use also pizza tomato sauce )
*dip the chicken rolls together with the potato cubes in the tomato souse and cook them for a while do not forget to use fresh rosemary with the tomato sauce
*you can fill the chicken rolls with other things with the cheese like pieces of olive, beef….etc
Very healthy meal contains, protein, carbohydrates, vitamins , no cholesterol calcium, . Lycopene, one of nature's most powerful antioxidants,

** home made Potato croquette with beef
(replace the ham in the following recipe with beef )

…webalhana welshefa

*In different places I would suggest to use banana green leaves to warp the chicken rolls while in the oven to give a specail smell

Will, I think you should try Mahshy or Pasta.
But anything away from the "taguen" word will be great for people eating with you.

Edition: What about Molokheya & another rice taguen, It will be so delicious with the chicken!

I presume that you know how to prepare the following, so try:

- Fattah, you can make it from the chicken soup, zabadi, garlic, crispy bread, and it will be nice with Hommos, fryed Snebar, and Bakdoones on top.

-Biryani rice with chicken

-Bamya with meat and rice

-Kharshoof with meat and rice

- Musaka'aa

-Ru'aa2 (Rukak) with assag or chicken meat
