its all about the oil huh??...while we are sitting on more oil in our midwest then all the oil in the mid east??....how much oil did we take so far??...we liberated Kuwait and COULD have taken the oil...but we didn't "take" on drop...we liberated the people of Iraq...where is the oil we have taken??...I do think there is a case where we SHOULD take some oil, but we haven't...Alan Greenspan is entitled to his opinion, but he is NO EXPERT in this field!! Has everyone forgotten of 9/11??....is EVERYONE ignorant of the fact that Iraq DID have training camps for Al Queta??.....IS IT GOING TO TAKE ANOTHER ATTACK AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF A CITY BEFORE PEOPLE OPEN THEIR EYES??....we had BETTER stop this divisive attitude in this country and get ourselves together, toughen up and FIGHT for our lives...this enemy is DEAD SERIOUS about our destruction...WAKE UP!!

How old are you? A lot depends on that question. if you are younger than your brother then i would advise you to keep studying and reading what educated and informed people on both sides of the question have to say. Then make up your own mind. You don't have to take your brother's word for it. However, make sure your decision is based on reasons, facts and true information and not on something so fuzzy as ¨I like the guy¨or ¨he's our president¨ or ¨people who don't like the war are wimps¨.

It boils down to this: we have to have an army to protect us but is that army in the right place? is that army protecting us by being in Iraq? Those are the questions you have to answer.,

General Petraeus has actually said that, although he thinks he knows how to win the actual war in Iraq, that doesn't mean that we will be safer or protected. It only means that he knows how to win a particular type of armed conflict. It doesn't answer the question of whether we should be involved in this particular armed conflict. Get it?

Good luck and whatever decision you come to,I think you are a great guy because at least you admit to not knowing all the answers and you are searching for the right one. That's all any of us can do.

Kevin, you are very smart to think for yourself and not believe everything you hear. I think Bush is by no means a bad president, compare to some of the worse ones like Hoover, A. Johnson, L. Johnson, Clinton.
The war was started over fighting terrorist, not oil. But I think it is time for the US to start pulling our troops out. The way it looks to me, no matter when or if Iraq takes control of its government, it won't last long with Saudi and Iran right there waiting. No matter how long the US stays, Iraq will still be attacked and taken over as soon as the US pulls out. So, it might as well be sooner than later.
The US needs to refuel and recap and get ready to fight China. From what I have heard, China is ready to attack the US on our own land. I don't believe Great Britian or any other country will aid us in that fight.

President Bush is the best, most honest and most liberal president since Clinton.

He did take President Clinton's advice and take out Iraq.

Many conservatives are questioning the war as well.
There are better things to be confused about...Bush is not running again anyway...think about who you will vote for next.

Whether he is right or he is wrong, I think your brother needs to cool it and leave you alone. You are too young to have to worry about it much less be able to understand everything about the Iraq war and have pressure put on you by an adult about it.

Why should someone your age have to make a decision about politics now when you couldn't do anything about it anyway?

WOW, I'm impressed. Your brother has know all of 2-3 presidents at best. What the hell makes him think he's an expert on politics? This country has something called freedom of expression which saves him. You have something better. It is called the capability of forming your own opinion. I know which of you is smarter!!!!

Greetings. And you believe that war crimes and crimes against humanity are the marks of a good president? that genocide against a people because they have oil resources is a good thing to do? I believe that one should not slaughter civilians in order to rob them and that those who do that, even if they are great ball room dancers or funny, are not good people. You do realize that if the bush you like continues that many of your friends will become occupants of the plain sealed aluminum caskets that our troops return home in, in secret of course. Just what do you like about bush?
