As long as you don't injure yourself by lifting incorrectly or trying to lift too much you will be fine. Be careful. I hurt my back by lifting wrongly when I was 16.

Dont get too ambitious with really heavy weights, but 5 minutes a day of gentle lifting will not harm you in any way.

weight lifting is not a dangerous activity unless you are stupid and try things like dead lifting 90kg just get some 3-5 kg weights dumb bell only no need to do it every day just skip a day in between.
If weight lifting stunted growth then your own body weight would do the same just consider how heavy your torso is and yet it didn't stop your legs from growing

It depends how heavy the weights are ?/ If you are serious about this activity look to join a club where there are professional people to give advice on what limits you should operate
All exercises is good for you , especially at your age group , but you just have to be careful about how far you take it.
Good luck

as long as u lift in the proper techniques and ways you will b fine but watch your back and only lift what you are capable of lifting. The only other thing is it tones u up so thats ok.

I wouldnt advise bodybuilding at young ages
I heard it stops your growth abit and you could end up staying short
maybe wait till your 16 to 18 until you start building muscle but until then healthy working out and staying fit is the best option

You have to "warm up" first before attempting any physical exercise, like many have said, if you are careful and don't overdo it, then you will be fine, you will be toned, you will have a healthy heart, blood pressure and not fall into the trap of age related disease!

The only harm may come when the girls leave their wimpy boys friends and chase you. So some guys may want to fight you.
Wish I had pumped iron as a kid!

It's not the amount of time you do weights.... it's the heaviness of the weights.
Don't do too heavy weights. You could cause damage to yourself.

It can only do you good! As long as you don't overdo it, and you don't stop it abruptly, all of a sudden! back it up with light exercises, good diet, regular health habits and good cheer!
