Have you ever been to Raleigh, North Carolina?

Unfortunately, no. I have been west all the way to the Pacific, been as far south as Orlando, Fl. (but only saw the Atlantic from the plane). I still need to work on north and east. Farthest north so far is Chicago, and farthest east is, well, technically, Orlando again! I drove to Atlanta one time, and I used to vacation near the southeastern tip of Kentucky, 16 miles from Tennessee, and a stone's throw from Virginia. Lived in Lexington, KY for two years.
I always wanted to go to Washington D.C. and from what I've read about Raleigh, it's a must-see, also. My son is living in Virginia, and seems to like it all right there. I would like to see the sights in New York, but a town that size kind of scares me! My fiance is from Conneticut, so maybe I'll get to go there sometime, who knows?
I intend to touch the Atlantic before I die. That's a life-long ambition, to touch both Oceans. Don't know why, I just want to!
So that's the condensed version of where I've been, and where I want to go! In the continental US, anyway! Not enough room or time to expand to the rest of the world! Suffice it to say, I could spend the rest of my life traveling, and not run out of places to go, lol!

I live about 90 minutes from there. I used to go a lot when I was in the club scene. Lots of good live music places there as well.

I have family there and I lived like an hour away from there a few years ago. Pretty area.
