One week from today I have a hot date but unfortunately I will just be starting my period. Is there any way I can delay it past next weekend, or reset it so I get it now and not later? Please I need to know as I plan to have fun next weekend. Thanks!

there is no healthy way to delay your period (unless you get pregnant). if you're the type that gets bad cramps, take an aspirin as soon as you start bleeding and you should feel way better about your period. have fun on your date!

the only way u may possibly be able to do this is if u are on birth control. If u have been taking birth control, u can delay your period by starting a new pack on the day of the sugar pills. So after your last pill, u would just start a new pack the very next day instead of having that week where u aren't supposed to take one...its kinda hard to explain, it works for me, but it doesn't work for everybody. but if your not on birth control, then u are screwed.

The only way I know to do what you want is if you are on birth control pills. The pill is 3 weeks of hormones and 1 week of sugar pills for the week you menstruate. If you don't take the blank pills and just restart the 3 weeks of hormone pills you should skip your period. Just for your 411, though, it's "not nice to fool Mother Nature"! Juggling your periods like that can sort of throw your hormonal balance out of adjustment.

There is some kind of shot that can cause your period to start, it's usually for people having trouble getting their period to start or regulate or something like that. (I'm sorry, I can't remember anything more specific about that. I heard it a long time ago)

It is a function of your body that is wrong to control. There are factors such as stress and other sorts that affect a cycle; but, nothing you can do unless it happens on its own. If you are not on birthcontrol get the Depo-shot-should total out for a visit and shot at your local health department=$10. That will delay your period, if your have a normal cycle. Do not do that if you are on another form of birthcontrol, though. Probably would just be easier to delay the date or just not have sex on your first date. That is trashy and you probably will not see him soon afterwards, what's more important?

Don't play with mother nature! Plan your fun around her... You can get a shot but it's not worth all the trouble you will have trying to get it straightened out again ! A hot date can still happen just no sex! But some guys might like that I guess. Just load up on the Midol and go have fun. Reschedule sex for the next date!

you can delay it by taking 5mg *********, three times a day from 4 days before your period, till you want it to come. I'm not telling you what you have to take as you need a doctors prescription for this as it may have side effects and contraindications the most common being thrombosis. I don't want you trying to buy it over the net or something.

Talk to your doctor before and if he/she thinks its ok for you to do it you'll get a prescription. Frankly I wouldn't make you a prescription just because you have a date!

Ask your GYN, there's plenty of options. You can take B.C. pills to stop it temporarily. Most important don't risk a mistake that could break your heart forever for one weekend.Fun is fun , the consequence could hurt both of you.Besides, it's truly your responsibility. Been there, done that. Take care of you AND have fun. CONDOM.

LOL there is no way you can especially so close to when you want to "reset" it.

Get to know the guy before hopping into bed with him. Jeez.
