You absolutely want to use condoms. It is a Very good idea to also go on the pill and use them together.

And you may want to get ky lotion for your first time just in case. If you feel embarassed about getting it just go to a pharmacy where there is a woman at the register and pick up a small bottle and a box of tampons.

Hope this helps..Best wishes and good luck :)

1. be sure that your partner has no STDs as those will stick with you for the rest of your life !
2. Use condoms ! Whatever he thinks use condoms as only condoms may save you from getting an STD.
3. If you think condoms are not enough for birth control get a prescription for the pill but remember that it has side effects.
4. Talk it out - both have to be comfortable otherwise it will be a mess !
5. The first time may not be what you expected but it will get better and better !
6. Most importantly make sure you're ready for it - being sorry after will be too late

Use a condom to prevent getting a sexually transmitted disease (STD) - herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, etc. ...not to mention HIV.

Know how to use a condom properly. (Don't laugh. You'll be surprised just how many people don't know how to put one on correctly. Their condom bursts or doesn't stay on and they wonder what went wrong...)

Do NOT let anyone pressure/ talk you out of using a condom!

Along with the condom, use another form of birth control - the pill is your best bet - to prevent pregnancy.

See your gynecologist once a year.

Well, first I would spend enough time in school to learn how to write a question! What's up with the double negatives?

I recommend condoms until you're married. They're good birth control, they are likely to prevent most diseases, and it's a good indicator of a person's character... if they don't want to use condoms, they don't care about you and they also know they already have a disease so they don't care if you give them one.

The best tip I can give you is go slow. Don't hurry into sexual experience. There is a lot of pressure from many directions and you are probably curious yourself to know what it is like.

I never knew anyone to get really hurt from waiting to have sex, but I've heard a lot of girls express disappointment and sometimes hurt from having sex too soon. You never get a 2nd chance for your first time.

You are a unique individual, a one-of-a-kind person. Respect yourself and don't share yourself with anyone who won't respect you and treat you well.

If you choose to go ahead, please use a condom. If you have to, buy them for yourself. Sexual disease and fears of pregnancy can tear you up emotionally.

Any guy who won't use protection is not worth you. When you have unprotected sex, you are exposed to anyone else he has been with.

Take Care, you're worth it.

Both a condom and the pill. For sure ALWAYS a condom. Infact, there is nothing wrong with even you buying them and having one in your own wallet.

But more importantly, be in a REAL relationship for a long time before you even think about losing your virginity.

Don't have high expectations for the first time. It can be good, but often the first time is a bit chaotic. So keep your expectations low, and know that everything gets better with practice and time.

And she is right about the double negatives. Don't make yourself sound silly.
