My husband and I need space to sleep. We will usually touch feet in the night. We give each other the space we need to get rest yet, often we cross just ankles in the night. Security in knowing the other one is there.

when i was younger... and new to ALL of "this".
I use to laugh at those who needed to sleep in seperate beds!
NOW! I laugh again... for being so stupid!
it has been over a decade since i first slept with someone... and really do appreciate the sleep i get.
There is no offence to my S.O. just over time... you learn that you really do get better sleep when you are sleeping in your own bed... alone!
so in part to answer your question:
I need my own space... but occassionally like spending some nights ALL night holding onto each other.

As much as we both love to hold each other as much as possible... eventually we get a bit of space to sleep... but we always try to touch each other in some way, without being annoying while the other is trying to sleep... One of my favorite feelings is to wake up and find her hugging me.

Cuddle & talk for a while then sleep sometime holding each other or just on our side of the bed - awww

Space, cuddle for awhile, then go to respective sides of the bed. Morning breath is killer!

We snuggle until one of us falls asleep, usually. When we wake up we're not holding each other any longer. I tend to need space so I really can't imagine holding him all night long.

SPACE!!! I like to cuddle or whatever & fall asleep. Then I need to stretch out in my own space. Maybe just touch somewhere, like feet or butt to butt. I will get hot and sweat, usually my feet have to hang out of the covers or at least one of them. I guess I'm weird!

No we don't hold eachother all night. He can't stand sleeping with me he said i hog the blanket's.

I need my space .. we still cuddle but don`t cuddle up in bed it gets too hot .
