Ali lost the first of three fights with Frazier. He had been inactive as a boxer for three years because of refusing the draft and Frazier at the time was the undefeated champ. He did not knock Ali out but won by decision. They had two more fights after that one, Ali won the second by a decision and the third was stopped by Fraziers team in an effort to keep from getting him killed. Ali never "Let" anyone knock him out.

1. fraizer did not knock him out, he lost a 15 round ud
2. the way you phrase your question it sounds like your making joe fraizer sound like some nobody can, Joe Fraizer is in no way a shitty boxer.
3. ali and fraizer fought 2 more times after the 71 fight and he won them both and if i recall he won one of those by knockout, or i might be thinking of someone else, but thats not the point.

if tyson was so skilled then why is it that once he stopped fighting cans and started fighting real boxers he started losing?

"Let" him? These were heavy weight boxers. Both were skilled but Ali especially in his footwork. Compared with a moron like Mike Tyson, Joe Fraizer was a good boxer.
