Are there any free alternatives to Google Analytics that provide the same level of data analysis and don't require you place one of their buttons on your site to advertise their product?

There are many free alternatives, very few with no adverts and none on Google's data analysis level. Why, what's wrong with G?
Even if you processed your own logs it wouldn't provide you the level you get with GA.
If you want better, you have to pay

hi,
i use the free alternatives without having to download their buttons. so my answer to your question is this, if u r advertising with them about their products then yes u would have to download their buttons but if u r just using their site to find out about something then u r not required to download their button. so u can use any data analysis site without downloading their buttons. hope this was helpful? bb,
