You'll just have to talk to her about it. Bring it up nicely, or maybe ask if she can help put them on you - she'll see they don't fit. She shouldn't have a problem with getting you something better. I don't think she'll be offended, even if she brought you some recently, if they're the wrong size.

That is, unless you have tiny tiny little bumps and you don't need a proper bra.

You are old enough now to start a conversation with your mom about this. You said she is close to you. You wouldn't be the only girl around discussing this with her mom. Don't be embarrassed. Just tell mom that the bras she has been getting you are too small and they don't fit you comfortably. Ask her if the two of you could go out together to the store and buy some bras that are more comfortable. I'm sure she will understand. She doesn't know you are having a problem with the size unless you tell her. Ask her not to discuss this with her friends because it is embarrassing to you. She was once your age. Hopefully, she will remember what it was like.
Try not to be embarrassed because we women have all gone through this kind of thing. Good luck!!

well at your age, those are useually what fits, and you're not really going to need the support. but if they really don't fit tell you're mom. there is actually a way to tell if you are ready for a real bra. you have to take a tape messure and messure arround yourself under your brests. then you add 5 to that number. now messuse arround your brests and the ammount of inches it is begger than the seccond number(the one you added 5 to)1=A 2=b and so on. but if what your mom is buying you doesn't fit tell her. but don't expect her to buy you a real bar right away, I know I was there, but you probably aren't really ready for a realy bra, yet, I know you want to be but it really takes time.

Tell her. Moms know best and she's been in that situation too!. But do it in a way that she'll know how you feel about it. Like telling her that your starting to feel conscious about the changes you're experiencing with your body.
Sorry for answering though I'm a guy. But I do have a daughter so I completely understand.

Ok honey, you just need to come out to her and say, mom i think i need a real bra. Tell her how you feel. OR,Say, hey mom these are getting kinda small, can we go shopping together? Then at the mall, say, hey look at these, can i try one on. Unless she's completely evil she'll say yes.

Look, it is ok to ask your mom, Maybe you can tell her that those just don't fit. Tell her that she got the wrong size.
If you are close to her, you should be able to to talk to her. Not long and you will start your menses (period) then you will really need to talk to someone.

GIRL POWER!! Good Luck

Go to a department store bra section and ask to be measured for a bra. They will measure under your breasts (add three inches to that number) and then across them. The difference in the measurements is your cup size. If you measure 29" under your breasts, add three inches, (32") and then measure over your breasts. If that number is 33", your cup size is 32A. If it's 34", you are a 32B, for example. Measurements will show your mom what she needs to know. If you haven't worn what she bought yet, she can return them. If she won't help you, ask a female teacher to talk to your mom -- believe me, at your age the teachers are used to this conversation.
