i forgot about my tampon and left it in for nearly 24 hours,
(i had a night out and drank alot) i then remembered the next day and took it out,
then a day or two later, i went to bed and woke up because i couldnt get into a comfortable position, my right upper leg and right lower abomen was in weird strained pain, i got up and had a bath, then spewed about 6 times, was very dizzy, sore throat..feet felt cold and tingly

i feel okish now but i still have pain in abdomen and right thigh..slightly dizzy no more vomiting though

look up: toxic shock syndrome on computer. It will give you list of symptoms to compare with yours.

You didn't mention fever, that is one important sign.

Also, you said you drank a lot, part of your problem may be after-effects of drinking .

If you can't get to doctor immediately, drink lots of clear liquids because "spewing" dehydrates you. A visit to doc. tomorrow would be smart.

Also, you didn't mention your age. If you are aching, still, you can take Tylenol (same as acetaminophen). DO NOT take aspirin right now. It would be hard on your stomach. Plus until you are 25 aspirin can cause a problem called Reyes Syndrome when you take it. Tylenol is best for now ( and no, I don't have stock in Tylenol - I always use generic. :) )

Good luck. I hope you feel better soon.

Your symptoms don't sound like TSS and it's highly unlikely you've contracted it.

Your body aches and nausea could be due to the flu. However, lower right abdomen pain can also be a symptom of appendicitis. You might want to take a trip down to the nearest urgent care clinic or at least call and speak to someone there. They should be able to advise you based on your symptoms.

Hope you feel better soon.

Usually TSS presents with high fever and rash. You may still have developed TSS but it's not very likely. Hovever you still need prompt medical attention because of the abdominal pain.

honestly even if you think its the flu you should go to the ER ANYTIME you hit your head and pass out. there is no reason to risk your health. the fact that you dont remember anything means you have a concusion and need to be seen now not later.good luck and hope all goes well but do get checked out.

go see your doctor or go to the ER right away, and if this happens again, go to your doctor or call then. and if you are worried about this happening again, try useing orgain coton tampons, or a pad, if you're in a possion where you think you might forget.
