Yesterday, I was walking down the street where I live and I passed a man in a wheel chair. He had no legs and he was smiling in the sunshine, as he was going about his business.
Although I am not a religious person, I am deeply spiritual. I counted my blessings when I saw that man, whom I am sure is remarkable. I counted my blessings for the health and happiness of all that I love.
Seeing things like that is good...it puts the much larger picture of life into perspective.

Very often,we are really so lucky that our families made the decision to make a new life in Australia.
I have cousins in Lebanon and Egypt and my life is so much better in every way than theirs.I love both countries to visit but feel for the people.I feel so sorry for those of my generation who are just leaving school and their prospects for getting a good well paid job. I wonder will they ever get to own their own car and maybe later a flat or home when they get married.
I also thank God that I have been blessed with health and that I have never had to live under oppression or know first hand the fear of war.

My real blessing in life, is my continued excellent health. I am also blessed, with the ability to have empathy for other people. During the winter, when snow is on the ground, it is not uncommon to visit me and always find a pot of soup and fresh home made bread on my table. I do not live in a house, I have a home that is open to ALL people, to share what I have with love. Any time of the year.
Y'all Come !

i don't think one can count his blessings [with all do respect] I personally cannot, but i know one and it's that we're [my family ,that is] are always looked up to by others even in our own family.
i think the greatest blessing is a good reputation amongst relatives , collegues, neighbours, etc....

Not enough, and thank you for that:
Health comes on top of my list, both my loved ones and mine.
Food on the table
Shelter from the weather
Good friends
I'm even having a good hair day...

yea, i always count my blessings, i always say hamdellah, and i always say Thank God, and i always know that what i have most people would just want to be in my shoes.
But also, as you know, no one is satisfied, i only want 100 000 usd from "Lord's" 1,000,000,000 usd that he has, and he wont give me any thing.
