most of the ppl i know i would die for. is that a bad thing? i know some of them would not take a bullet for me yet i know i would for them? is that bad? how do i say that without sounding gay?why do i put myself lower than my friends who wont do the same?

I know how you feel Nic. I think personally it is better to be caring than a cold-hearted person. It is a wonderful trait to have and just because others don't, you should ALWAYS be true to yourself. Just be careful that you aren't used by people or taken for granted either.

You don't put yourself lower than them, it's actually the opposite. I feel you on the 'taking a bullet' comment. You really care about people, and that's a great and RARE quality. It shows that you would choose their interests and life ahead of their own to be their protector. Most people don't feel this way, so you should be grateful of your concerned and heart filled persona.

Also, you can just straight up tell people that you would do it (only guys might think you're gay for saying it, a girl never would. She would think it's sweet) but honestly, if you know someone wouldn't do it for you I doubt they'd care if you told them. The only reason you would let them know is to show them how much you care about them, but if they don't care that YOU care then who cares? Ha ha. Get it?

This is probably a question that makes people uncomfortable. Most people, particularly young people don't want to think about their own mortality. If you are saying this to your friends, they are probably wondering why you would be saying this to them. When you care deeply for your friends they generally know by your actions that you are a good person who would take care of them if needed. It just isn't something that people say to one another. If you are talking about this, I think you are looking for reassurance of your friends commitment to your relationship.Think about a soldier who throws himself on a grenade to save his friends. He probably doesn't announce to the group that he would do this, he just does it if that circumstance happened. Actions speak louder than words.

your friends know you would do anything 4 them. but they're not willing to jump in front of a bullet. you can never be 2 caring.
o and gay guys are girls best friend, so don't worry bout sounding gay

u do not have to say it . but u can show it throught being there for them in bad and good times .. it has nothing to do with u being gay !!! its just that no one really talks about their feelings that way any more except if it was for romance.
u do not put urself lower than your friends you just feel better when u feel like you can do something good and useful to your friends.. i do not think that is somthing bad.wish there were more like you.

man,, you need to take balanced view on friendship. Not everyone is angel and some of them may want to take advantage of you, seeing that you are such a person. Be friendly, but not too much. Just,, be casual and take things easy and anyway just try to be a good man but not too much. Just remember that you can look cheap and boring and they may discard friendship with you.

don't worry man, I feel exactly the same way.
although I don't care for people I don't know, i'm actually mean to people I don 't know, so it kind of balances out I suppose.
I think I feel like I would do anything for my friends is....because I have nothing else but friends, and I love them so much!

Nothing wrong with that. You're friends would probably do the same if they would need to, if and when a situation comes up, you never know.

well, it's up to you. if you think you have been used or bullied all this while and you think that it's not supposed to be that way, do something about it.
or if you think that it's okay, continue being so nice.
