"They" are usually the status quo or the media; two groups that have bloodlust. There's a saying in journalism, "if it bleeds, it leads." It means if there is bloodshed, it will be in the headlines as the most important story -- the story that sells the most.
In the song, it's basically a way of saying, "we don't care about who gets hurt, as long as there is blood, because blood sells."

well...you know how there are shirts that say like its not funny until someone gets hurt, then its hilarious? i think its something like that. teenagers just want excitement and nothing else matters in life. its obviously not true, but gerard is kinda into the whole making fun of social stereotypes.
btw, the music video for that? i waited a month after they said it would come out for it (b/c they didn't want to release it b/c of virginia tech) and it sucked really bad...i hated the whole cheerleading thing
i was so dissapointed b/c i loved famous last words and expected something better
anyways, its still a good song (like everything else by them)

It means that Teenagers could really destroy your personality and they try to take the best of you because that's all that their good at doing.

the "they" is society and "they couldn't care less as long as someone'll bleed" is just society's view of what all teenagers (who listen to MCR) want, which is mainly anarchy
