Being a person of few words... I have always found this to be true.
Personally, I am annoyed by people who blather on about meaningless crap. And when ppl ask why am I so quiet, I usually say, "I don't see the need to fill up empty space with equally empty conversation."

I have noticed that people that say nothing when they are sober let lose those words in a very mean and terrible way. Word should never be kept hidden, they should always come forth.

yes it SEEMS, but most of the times is not the case.. i've fallen for that many times and realized that most of "those" truly have NOTHING to say indeed!
