In America? I live in new zealand, and sadly here people refer to her as the blonde chick in high school musical. How famous is she over in the states with her album and everything? like, britney spears famous or Hilary duff famous? or is she still not really that big?

I think on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being most famous like old brittany or Madonna and 0 being the nappy headed garden utensils of the wnba, I would say ashley is about a 6 right now. My daughter has her movie and watches the suite life of zack and cody all the time and her cd. The cd really isn't that bad either.

Ashley Tisdale was in a mall in her stroller when she was just three, and a producer saw her and told her mom that she could be made famous by him. Ashley's mom said yes after a while, but at first she said no because she was a little doubtful. Ashley's first real gig was being in a JC Penny commercial. I'm not sure about Miley.

I'm 50; I don't watch much TV and modern movies, and I listen to music from the 70's and 80's. I've heard of Spears and Duff but I've never heard of Ashley Tisdale.

She's not very famous here in the Philippines...I never heard at least one of her songs playing on the radio,and plus she has an UGLY voice...please......her voice is hell....only 10 year old girlygirls would like her......I'd rather pick Vanessa Hudgens over Ashley Tisdale.....

She's not that famous, they always associate her with HSM, I'd say she is a little bit less famous than Hilary duff
