i said it right and stated it right cowboydoc. it looks like you said it wrong and stated it wrong and need a history lesson. you said "The North Koreans and China attacked the South and the American forces and pushed them back to the sea" this is wrong. in the beginning of the korean war, china and america werent militarily involved. and north korea and china never pushed them back to the sea. north korea invaded much of south korea without the help of china but when america joined the war and landed in incheon south korea thats when the north koreans started their retreat into china, and is where my question comes into play. when communist china and north korea counterattacked the americans and south koreans, could they have possibly advanced passed the 38th parallel and completely drive out the americans and south koreans from korea? notice that i said "possibly" in the question
