No. I'd be afraid they'd catch it.

I once stretched the truth quite a bit. Heck, it almost broke! I was applying for a job at a steak house, and they asked if I had any cooking experience. I told them that when I was a dishwasher at a country club a few years before, that the cooks would let me cook my dinners and some of theirs. This was only stretching the truth. I implied that I did real cooking. All I ever did was throw steak & chicken fingers, and fries into the deep frier. But it did show that I had SOME cooking experience.
Little did I know that two days later every other cook at this steak house would walk out in protest over a new manager. For almost three months I worked open to close every day, as the only cook they had. Let me tell you, being the only cook at a steak house on Mother's Day is NOT a pleasant day.

little lies yeah. I may fudge the dates on my past job experiences and the part where i explain my strengths i have stuff that is totally not me. For my strengths part of my resume, i listed that i work well under pressure. I really dont work well under pressure 95% of the time! When i go to interviews, they always ask me to explain to them a time where i worked well under pressure and i always make up some stupid BS that makes me look like a complete moron! I'm too lazy to go and fix it lol.

I wouldnt lie more than that though. Who knows what they check.

Best wishes!
