I was talking ot my Friend in the U.S and she said that since im a student i can't work weekdays at mcdonalds (Im in canada is this true) I am homeschooled so i can work weekdays if i want right? The manager said i could so can i ?

That's bull. I work at a Mc Donald's in Washington state and as long as you have the school's and parent's permission (In your case just your parent's permission you can work any shift during the day. Since you are homeschooled you can even work early morning and do your school work in the afternoon. You just have to be 18 to work the graveyard shift if it is a 24 hour store. We have students that work until 10pm.

I don't see any reason why you can't...I'm homeschooled too, and I used to work at McDonalds, I was a team leader (I'm actually looking for another to work at right now). Anyway, they let me work whenever I wanted to. And during the school year last year, I was working 30 hour weeks.

Yes, I can't see why not. One thing though, my advice is to make sure you join a union. Companies such as McDonalds are known for taking advantage of students because they don't have to pay them much. Know your rights.

i suppose as long as you have proof that your not skipping school to work, working weekdays is quite alright
