I've been thinking about tons of costumes. But I want something really funny (for a girl) that isn't too embaressing.
I've heard everything from Gotti to a baked potato to a mormon. Surprise me =].

I went to a Halloween Party/contest last Halloween, and I have friends who dressed up as dominos. They used cardboard and made dots on the, and had strings holding them on their shoulders. Their costumes were funny.

Years ago I belonged to a nudist group and we had a Halloween costume party where you had to be in costume, and still present as a nudist. I went as Lady Godiva one year ... I used yellow yarn and made a wig that went below my knees ... and bought a stuffed horse that I put between my legs to ride on! You could add a body suit to this and be totally covered .... I think you would get some laughs! And the wig was pretty simple to make.

The funniest one I heard of was on "The Addams Family" where Wednesday wore her own clothes and said she was dressed as a homicidal maniac, they look like everyone else.
I also remember someone who dressed as an oreo cookie.
BTW, how do you dress like a Mormon?

Since my hobby is reading I would dress as a book, My daughter who loves to cook would probably dress either as a utensil or one of her favorite foods. My middle daughter would go as something that complements what her sister was wearing and my oldest just loves the mickey mouse characters ( she's developmentally delayed)

You could be a Ninja Cowgirl.
It is an idea i found in High school. You wear the black ninja garb and a cowboy (or girl in this case) hat. It is cheap and simple.
Another ninja idea. a skeleton ninja. get the skeleton skull and the black ninja garb.

I was a Ritz cracker once (with cheese.)
I was also a Rohrshach ink blot test.
I was also a super-hero named "Captain Underpants" with a hat made out of Scooby-doo underwear.
But my favorite was in high school when I was a wanted poster...that one was cool

Get some round green balloons. Blow them all up and pin them all over your clothes. You can be a "bunch of grapes."
