It seems to me that every movie he has been in has been either pretty good or very decent. Even Denzel had one or two rotten apples, and I really like Denzel movies too.

- "Troy" was weak, but not terrible so it doesnt count I guess.

- He did the main voice in the animated film "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas" (2003) which was terrible.

- "Full Frontal" (2002) was pretty bad.

- A lot of people didnt like "The Mexican" but I thought it was okay

- "Meet Joe Black" (1998) I didnt care for, but wasnt that terrible.

- "Seven Years in Tibet" (1997) was dumb and rather pointless

- "The Dark Side of the Sun" (1997) was terrible, has anyone actually ever seen this movie

- "The Favor "(1994) looks terrible but never saw it

- "Cool World" (1992) was terrible

- and basically all the movies from his early career aside from "Thelma and Louise" were terrible.

So, for the most part, I agree with you that today he is a pretty bankable actor and most of him movies are "Bad" but some of them arent that good either. Like most actors, his early career is riddled with failures but he has pulled through quite nicely. I personally really like him as an actor. I think that
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007) and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) look really good to come too.

Dark Side of the Sun. He plays a young man with a rare skin condition. It is a pretty bad movie. Other than that he is the most relatively young talented actor right now. Well it is a tie between him and Leonardo DiCaprio.

No, there's a lot of good movies he's been in. He knows how to choose good roles. However, I think he's better in period pieces rather than modern ones. Legends of the Fall is one of my favorite movies, and I can't wait to see The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

He didnt act properly in 12monkeys. Ive viewed him in undesirable video clips yet he didnt have a huge area. In 12monkeys he become a loopy nut yet he become too abnormal, im particular thats what the director wanted yet he become merely stressful. all human beings above indexed some sturdy video clips. 7 become chilling, snatch become hilarious, combat club become unique all ok acted.

I thought Mr and Mrs. Smith wasn't terribly great.

For a movie that had two huge stars it was pretty bad :)

Just my opinion though.

Johnny Suede (or whatever the hell the name was) sucked..

He wasn't the best in Cool World.. I love the movie, but his acting almost made me turn away from it..

Meet Joe Black. It's three mind numbing hours of my life that I'll never have back.
