Right now, Rudy. I've heard Rudy and I respect him and could see myself voting for him.

I've heard Fred, but am not as impressed. However, that could change.

First of all... if "getting in the race early" really matters to you, I'd suggest you rethink things.

If that's the case, I'd like to announce my candidacy for 2012.
Am I early enough?

Secondly... while I applaud Rudy for standing up to Hillary's hypocrisy and totally reprehensible treatment of Petraeus... I am favouring Fred Thompson.
If you really don't think he's said anything, I'd encourage you to see imwithfred.com
Also, he's traveling the nation and speaking to the people and many of these little speeches are on youtube or other outlets.
He's already said:
1. We need to seal the border and solve the illegal immigration problem.
2. We need to declare English the national language.
3. We need to finish what we started and establish some stability in Iraq.
4. We need to be very wary of Iran and its leadership as they are the cause of many of our problems in Iraq.
5. We need to return America to what it was and that starts with us... The People. Government is getting too big and arrogant for its own good.

I've looked at all the candidates... his platform makes the most sense to me.

Rudy! Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!
Daniel E. Ruettiger.

Not Giuliani.

Fred Dalton Thompson? Ya, right.

I'm favoring Fred over Rudy simply because I haven't heard him say anything yet.. And that alone, is much much better than what Rudy has to say...

Fred has had volatile staff turnover, i see that as a bad sign. Rudy has had volatile wife turnover, that's not good either. But i'll stick with Rudy (if given those 2 choices)

Honestly its a wash. Thats the problem we don't really know many of Thompsons views. Rudy...Eh at least he has an actual plan for lowering crime.
