Well, let's see...there's Jack Nicholson killing one person with an axe and menacing his family....there's a scene with him kissing a naked woman who turns into a rotting corpse...there's images of two little girls slaughtered, who are probably about seven years old....Are you KIDDING? Well, I'm not the one who has to take the heat for him having nightmares for a few weeks, if not longer.

There's actually a few scenes that would probably freak a 7 yr. old out. Not so much in a visible way, but in a mess up your head way.

l didn't find anything bordering on the adult content. The movie is old and your brother might find it boring since old movies are slow. The sinister-looking face of Jack N. is scarier than the story itself.

yes of course hes kills with an axe but i mean it depends on how much adult content you are willing to let him see i mean ya there is soem nudity but not alot violence yes and adult language alot so its up 2 u

It's not appropriate for a seven-year-old. There is violence, nudity, a lot of bad language, and it is pretty darn scary!
