This question points right to me.

When I was born, my mother was only fourteen. My grandparents basically decided for her that they would raise me as their 'daughter', for all intents and purposes. Long story short, I was told the truth about my maternity when I was old enough to understand, and it hurt. Bad. For a long time I felt like I couldn't trust my family anymore, including my birth mother and especially my grandparents. So, is the truth always the way to go? I don't know, but I do know that the truth is a huge responsibility and should be taken very seriously, as it can hurt just as much as it can help.

..i don't know..

there are some things i wish i didn't know the whole truth to,
because if i didn't know the whole truth to them, i probably wouldn't be living the way i do..

but then again..i like knowing the whole truth..because then nothing can hold you back..you can't try and find a way out, you just have to live with it...and that really sucks

but..i guess i'd rather be more oblivious and knowing some of the truth---i know, i kind of cheated there..---

but, yeah...i'm still not really sure... :\

you ask such GREAT QUESTIONS! C: C: C: C: C: C: C: C:

Knowing the whole truth is never a bad thing. Truth leads us onto a path of enlightnment. There is no honor in a truth not told. The hurt let's us know we are alive. The truth may hurt but it teaches us to grow stronger and overcome. An example would be after surgery, the doctor always has us to walk and excercise to regain our strength. It hurts at first, but with time and patience we overcome and become stronger.

Yes, I want the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Even if it hurts. Yes, indeed.

I would take any pain or any amount of suffering to learn the truth. Emotional or physical. I think it's that important (emphasis on the word "that"). Sure, what you don't know doesn't hurt you but hurting isn't my greatest concern. Being blind of knowledge will never let anyone move ahead. And that is my purpose in life, to move ahead.

I would rather know the truth, even if it's something I don't want to hear, it's better than the unknown!!

I'd rather know the truth; I've been lied to way too many times.
