i am currently using a wireless connection. it seems tat i could connect to to my preferred wireless network but i cant connect through the internet..everything seems to be fine, the connection icon has not shown any connectivity problem. i have tried restarting the wireless adapter but it still wont help. is there any way to solve this problem?

You may try to check the ISP provider for the internet and also, please try to check the driver of your wireless on your laptop. Then, trying reinstalling it.

On are you having another wireless network? Try connecting the the other wireless network if you had. If it goes, maybe there's really a problem on your preferred wireless network. If not, try the one I suggest.

Cut the power to the modem for half an hour. Then replug it. If that doesn't work, then just disconnect all items connected to the phone line (fax, phone, etc) and restart the modem. This usually works. Then plug everything back in.

You may need to unplug the power from the cable modem and wait about 15 to 20 minutes and then plug the power back in.

I have had the same problem sometimes and that is what I do.
