Our cats talk to us all the time. They have their greeting meows and tail swishes and quivers, their contented purrs and dreamy eyes, their special touches with their paws just to make sure they're connected. They paw at things when they want something. They have many ways of communicating. They try their best to talk with the same tone that I talk to them in. If I whisper to them, they try to whisper back. If I'm being loud, they are too. They're part of our family and try to be human.
They have their people trained quite well, too.

Up until I started taking the psychotic meds. Then I realized I didn't have a dog or cat. I thought I was just lucky that the house didn't smell and never had to clean after them. Unfortunately I still remembered to buy them food. Anyone need 2000lbs of cat and dog food?

My dog makes a grunting sound when I pet her, which I tease is her attempts to talk, and accuse her of complaining about things. She's taught the younger dog how to grumble now but he only does that when I move him over in the bed. It's probably a good thing I don't have those remarks translated.

Two of our 3 cats try to talk to us. Our dog tries to talk to us, also. I love our pets. I'm not sure what they are trying to say but the cats, especially will sit on my lap and try in different ways and different sounds as they are seriously looking at me as if I should know. :o)

My dogs might say to me, "subsequent time you return to a decision to submit a solution, possibly you oughta think of it via somewhat extra while you evaluate that answer you gave the different day made you seem petty and shallow; i become dissatisfied in you. with any luck no longer too many human beings study it formerly you deleted it, and with any luck you discovered something from it."

Yes. I speak to my cat. She mostly tells me to relax and to 'take it easy'. She just whispered in my ear that she'd like to meet you and talk cat with you too.

my cat carries on lengthy and poignant conversations with me....she mostly tells me about her day, what her friend Simon (my other cat...who only says "feed me") and her did that day and that she loves me and would like me to rub her ears. She doesn't talk to anyone else in the house but she is very talkative to me.

My dog says, "Hey! What are you eating? Give me some!" and "Let's play!" He also burps, and whines when he's bored. I speak no other animal languages.
