whats the point of going out in high school?

THere is no real point!!!!


I just went to my ten year reunion and NOBODY wound up getting married to each other,

I never had a girlfriend in high school, A tthe time i wished that i did. big time, it drove me nuts and the school does nothing but encourage it, with prom and dances and s*it

But homestly who cares, the vast makority of people at age 16 or whatever aren't mature enough for that crap anywase.

When you look at it this counttry puts a huge show for those who are aged 14- 30, moreso the younger ones, and yes, sex is one of those things they look proud upon.

There is no point. It leads to premature struggles that you should not have to deal with at that age.

Such as:
1. Sex
2. Romance
3. Heartbreak
4. Commitment

Now as to why people do it anyways? Well the answer is simple: hormones. Highschool is when those hormones start kicking in. Combine that with the close contact atmosphere and you've got a recipie for disaster....well I guess, not ALL high school relationships fail.

But 99% of them do. Too much drama at too young of an age. You just learned what l-o-v-e spells, don't throw it around unless you know what it means.

And believe me, high schoolers have not lived long enough or seen enough things to know what true love is.

I know it's hard to believe me, i've been there. But trust me, you'll look back later and either:
1. Laugh or
2. Cry because you wasted your highschool years pursuing a fake relationship destined to fail

If you go off to college, and into the real world, and you've never kissed a girl or asked anyone out, or held hands or done anything whatsoever, things will usually be more difficult and you'll be much more nervous.

I don't know. I guess its the fact that girls and boys are getting exposed to each othre and likeing each other. It's more of two friends going to catch a movie instead of an actual date.
