I liked the Bon Scott era, but I choose Brian Johnson because they never would have so many hits. What say you?

Absolutely Bon Scott. Nobody has a voice like he did! He was unique and he took them up the charts...
He should've moderated and enjoyed his success!

I'd definitely choose Bon Scott. Brian Johnson might've had better moments with AC/DC, but Bon Scott is THE voice of the band. Agreed, Brian Johnson's voice got a little weaker as time went by.

Both Bon Scotts Voice and Brians Voice kinda sound alike. Both singers are great but im gonna have to go with Bon Scott he did lay the foundation he had an awsome voice and a great showman also.

Brian , i think, tries too hard to imitate bons voice but its kinda close. Have to give AC/DC props for finding a great singer that sounds kinda like Bon did.

I used to like Brian Johnson better, but now I like the Bon Scott era. Brian Johnson's voice sometimes hurts my ears.

Bon Scott
With him ACDC had some sort of originality and Back in Black was already in the studio when he died. I have a track of Bon Scott singing Back in Black and it's better than the Brain Johnson version.

Bon Formed Ac/Dc without him and the Young brothers there would be no Ac/Dc

Brain made so many popular songs. Back In Black,Thunderstruck You shook me all night long.

Well Bon did say if anything did happen to him Brain is the amn to replace him.

So in the end.... Bon all the way.

Bon Scott was da bomb. I had the pleasure to see both in concert. Saw Bon on the Highway to Hell tour w/UFO in Illinois. Saw Brian on their Who made Who tour w/Blackfoot also in Illinois. Something was missing with Brian. It appeared he struggled with the Bon songs but he still rocked but not quite the same.

Their best stuff was with Bon Scott but Back in Black is one of their biggest sellers to this day.
