Flightless birds are birds which lack the ability to
fly, relying instead on their ability to run, and are
thought to have evolved from their flying ancestors.[1]
There are about forty species in existence today,[2]
the best known being the ostrich, emu, cassowary, rhea,
kiwi, and penguins.

Thesoccerchickabove basically got them all, but I'll just add that what some other epople said was wrong ... ducks and chickens can fly. Ducks can fly well and for long distances ... I don;t knwo where that came from, and chickens are classified as being able to fly ... even though not well, they can get a couple of metres up and across.
