I just ordered a pre-owned movie on Amazon & had it sent to my house. It smells like cigarette smoke, but nothing else. Someone in my family is paranoid & thinks it may explode and blow up the house. It was delivered yesterday & opened today, so wouldn't it have exploded by now? BTW, the movie is It's A Wonderful Life, so why the heck would someone want to blow up a Christmas movie is beyond me. Help prove this is complete insanity! Thanks for the help!

If you REALLY fear a bomb, why not call the police and have them look it over? I would.

Definitely not a bomb. lt got the smell from a smoker. Packages go through xrays and being sniffed by dogs these. After 9/11, delivery measures are a lot stricter.

I doughty it but if your really worried about it take it to the police station they can have one of their bomb trained dogs to sniff it out but like I said it most likely isn't. Who would go through the trouble of getting a very VERY small bomb to blow up someone they don't even know and waste all that money on a small bomb again I'm sure it isn't. hope this helps and thanks for the question
