My husband loves the name zoe and I am in love with the name vada....My Girl is my all time favorite movie and I always swore if i had a girl i would name her vada. whish is best?

I personally like Zoe better, but dont know if I like the spelling (maybe Zoey instead)...Lorelai is a mouthful...so Alexis sounds best with it. Vada isnt bad, but not great either....although I do like Lorelai with Vada because the styles of the names go together and it flows....plus Vada ends with an A and Alexis starts with an A....not good. If you have always loved the name Vada though and always dreamed of doing that, then go with it because if you dont, you will be dissapointed that you didnt....you have to choose what you love most, regardless of what others say...and its not like Vada is a bad name or anything....I guess it can grow on you because Im actually liking it a little more as Im typing this email...haha :)

What the hell is there to make fun of about the name Vada????
Well, I feel like I need to remove Vada from my name list! I've loved the name ever since I saw the movie "My Girl", but I don't like knowing someone else out there is thinking about using the name also! Ha, ha.
Seriously though.... Zoe is way more common than Vada.... I would go with Vada.

I like Vada Alexis, but I would put Alexis first
ALEXIS VADA KILLIN sounds great
Lorelei is also a very pretty name, but cut the Zoe, sounds like a name for a kittycat....

While I don't like the name Alexis at all for a first name...(sorry no offense intended... just my personal taste) I really like it as a middle name with your name choices!
My favorite is Zoe Alexis... but if you love Vada, I like Vada Alexis!
