I used to eat these all the time and I thought that they were delicious. Now I find that none of the McDonalds seems to serve them anymore. What's the deal!?

I ate them all the time, they were so good. They had both the cinnamon roll and the danish. In my state, the danish hasn't been on the market since 2002. The McRib comes back a couple times a year.

McDonald's constantly rotates its menu to reflect the general public's ever-changing tastes--and now supports a healthy, active lifestyle! Unfortunately, the cheese danish was an item that was discontinued. They now carry Cinnamelts. They tested this product in Michigan, and the response was overwhelming with sales of over 1500 per store, per month. You might want to try these. They're a wonderful addition to the McDonald's menu.

The buns and danishes were baked for McD's by Sara Lee. McD's discontinued them in the early 90s, replaced with the cinnamon roll, and then subsequently by the current cinnamelts. I am reasonably sure Sara Lee still provides the buns for McD's....I found out the a the McDonaldland cookies were from Keebler . Keebler also makes the Girl Scout cookies....Thin Mints are really Grasshoppers and Samoas are really Coconut Dreams with a hefty price tag :) Keebler is my go to source for store bought cookies :)
