I must have done something right as my son only drinks on special occasions, doesn,t smoke or do drugs. He is married now with a 5yr old daughter, not bad (eh) considering I love a drink plus I smoke, been there done that on the drug scene.I think that I deserve a medal. All done as a single parent as my husband decided he was too young to be married with a child.

Well, I'm not a parent to a child (I'm only 16), but I do take care of my two baby ferrets. I pay for their food, toys, litter, etc. I always make sure their cage is clean and my bedroom is at a comfortable temperature for them. I cut their nails, clean their ears, brush them frequently during shedding season, and give them baths when they start getting smelly (every three months or so). I make sure they are up to date on their shots. I spoil them with toys and treats every once in a while. Of course, I play with them everyday until they are so tired that they fall asleep in my lap, cuddle them and give kisses. I make sure they get enough exercise and that they are always happy and healthy. I give them my all, and I think that what is makes me a good parent towards them.

well i dont have kids but i have taken care of many others and i did a good job because i had dedication, patience and willingness to do whatever it took to make sure they felt good about themselves and to never give up on their goals and dreams so i know i would be if i had my own. good luck.

Sometimes I feel like I am letting them down. I try to do my best, but is that good enough? sometimes I am not sure.
