9 out 10 times it is a tire imbalance that will cause this highway speed shake. Have your mechanic take a look see.

it could be a tire out of balance or an axle that's not perfectly round or a belt in a tire that not right ,anything can cause one to shake at that speed, you,ll need to start with the tires and go from there with it,this is one of those things that you have to narrow it down there's no instant answer to a problem like that, good luck with it.

My car used to shake if I go over 45mph. Turns out one of my tire had a huge bump on it, that was very close to bursting. Check your tires, if that's not it, then it could be your aligenment. Good luck

Most likely, your wheel balance is bad - one of the weights has fallen off. Not a big deal - and cheap to fix - unless you wait too long and have to replace the tyre, too.
Otherwise, it could be a bent wheel rim - this would need to be straightened or replaced.
Good luck!

That means in most states you are speeding. Just kidding. Check your tires or have them balanced. Have the whole car checked out while you have it in. I don't want you losing control when you fly by me.

most likely its you universal joints on the drive shaft
they cost about 20. dollars each (2) and about $50. each to change. You can do it your self but its a little tricky if you haven't done one then get someone else to do it.
of course this is for real wheel drive only if front wheel drive more possible problems could egsist

It sounds like it is out of balance. If you feel it shaking in the steering wheel, it's your front tires. If you feel it in your lower back, it's your back tires!!

i think a tire is out of balance. if the problem were more serious it would shake at all speeds.

Look to see if you are missing one of the lead weights that keep your tires in balance. They are clipped on the edge of your tire's rim.
