i agree 100% there are to many things that can mess up kids, relationships, life, etc...

No. I agree with Ashesh. And personally, I think we focus too much on the negativity in the media, however, so that's why it seems so bad. Myspace kidnappings, viruses, invasion of privacy. Shock and fear sells and makes people want to go back for more and hope they'll get information or confirmation to be ok.They sure as heck mention that a lot more often than the amount of knowledge that can be discovered here, or being able to keep in touch with people and loved ones throughout the earth, because it's something that's generally known and a sudden crazy event. =/

I have our filters set real high blocking a lot of content and I wouldn't know how much exactly is on the internet but what we use has been a big help and fun.

You know what, it really is. It's become something of a worse nightmare. You don't know what true or false, everyone can see your blackmail, you see stuff you don't want to, ect. It's bad.
