I guess I'd have a spotlessly clean house, and a long list of books on hold at the library. I'd probably have to call my friends all the time, cause there'd be no email. Telling jokes over the phone just isn't the same, and for those friends I just located through facebook, I guess we'd be writing back and forth through snail mail.

I'd be screwed. -_- Way too much of my social life is online. Seriously.
A lot of it is that....online, people mainly see my words. And I can be somewhat eloquent on occasion, according to what others tell me.
But offline, in the real, people see that I'm older, chubby, shy, and like somewhat poor, and that combination, at least locally where I live, ends up getting people in my face who *hate me* on sight, versus liking me. Really, I have a terrible, *terrible* time even getting out to run errands, never mind making any real friends that I can talk to.
So yeah....no internet means *no social life* for me. Meaning I just lost all my friends. You can see where that wouldn't be healthy, right? o_o

In a way it should be shut down for 5 years to clean it up too much junk and crap on it makes it hard to use when everything you type up comes up to porno site

Lose the weight I gained from sitting in one spot for 19 hrs. per day
Learn to spell - again
Get used to talking face to face - again
Complain (more) about the price of stamps

Invite all of my (probably former) friends to a cook-out
I will begin to think for myself - again
Go outside and take a walk
and then I will pay the re-connect fee and log on - again

watch tv, cable, movies for 5 yrs while waiting for the internet to come back.

I lived most of my life without it. I would miss some features, but am sure I could cope.
