Ok i bought a LG F9100 last night on ebay and i was going to buy a USB cable for it so i can put pics on it and stuff well it says This USB data cable enables you to connect your cellular phone to your computer for: Wireless internet access, Sending and receiving email, FTP (Uploading and downloading files), Downloading Music / Pictures / Ring tones i dont understand how i can get wireless internet access please explain

you can get wireless internet by calling your cellular service. thats it. you can't just plug it in and have access...you need to call its usually an extra fee to have internet service on your phone

Sounds like you just want to use the cable to download from your computer to the phone not use the phone as your internet access point. Use the cable to download your pics from your computer as you described. But if your phone has an external memory chip just use that to put the pics onto then put it in the phone and transfer it to the internal memory of the phone when you want to. External memories go up to about 4gigs now for about 90 bucks.
