Yes. Seeing a ghost is a real human experience. I suspect that ghosts associated with hauntings, crisis apparitions and seeing your deceased relatives may all have different explanations. The term apparition used to mean the visual image of person that you know to not be physically present at your location was used as far back as 1882 in order to attempt to be more precise than the word ghost.
If a ghost is the surviving spirit of a person, a recorded memory impressed in the atmosphere, or access to a collective consciousness (all ideas to explain ghosts) is something that science has not yet determined.
Dreams and emotions are real and do not posses a physical structure so are ghosts material objects? most experiences suggest they are not.
However, quantum physics has proved that most material objects are also mostly empty space so....

If those wild and crazy paranormal researchers would only define what actually comprises a ghost, or how we would go about defining one, then maybe there would exist a more definite answer to your question. As it stands at the moment, ghosts can be freely defined as anything from a light that only appears on film (orbs), an image which may or may not have a human form, shadows which (seem to) possess no known source or a spirit from the world beyond, as well as any inexplicable noise, real or imagined (e.g. "EVP").

So, yes! It can be said that ghosts are real--as there is always something which can be defined as a ghost--even those blurry images on t.v. were called "ghosts" long before psychic researchers began to entertain the notion that they in fact were from other dimensions trying to break through into ours (--all thanks to the movie "Poltergeist"). But I must stress that there is a difference between entertaining an idea of a "what-if", and actually believing it, let alone pretending that vague and ambiguous recordings actually qualify as legitimate evidence or conclusive proof.

Still in all I love to be scared, so I tune into youtube all the time--and it's almost always one of those jokes where you look hard for something to appear and then they flash this image of Linda Blair from "The Exorcist" onscreen and scream--and so do I. Oh well, I love to talk about ghosts even if I no longer have any faith in their existance.

my experiences are too many to list : )

A Ghost is a Spirit which is a Soul the Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body. It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.

Some people don't pass over because of unfinished business
Or they just don't know they have died
Or they didn't know to go to the light
This is what people call a Ghost
I call Spirit some call Lost Souls

You also have a Spirit Guide which has been with you from the time you was born till the day you pass over : )

Do you also know that people that Astral Travel are seen as ghost, so maybe people are seeing ghost maybe are just living people just exploring via Astral travelling : )

Food for thought isn't it ?

Nothing in life is to be feared, It is only to be understood.

Love & Blessings

If a person dies before the mind can understand what happened they stay until they do. I had a massive head injury when I was a small child. I woke up in the hospital room. There was another boy in there. He was getting dressed to leave. I asked his name and why he was there. He told me his name and that he fell on a harrow. He lifted his shirt to show me the 13 places he was injured.Told me he was ok and going home. I woke up 6 weeks later. I asked about the boy and was told he never woke up, and that he died shortly after I arrived. They did not know how I knew his name, what he looked like, and how I could draw a picture of his back with an x at every point of his injuries. My dad found a wreck when 2 trucks collided. He could see one was dead. He could not see in the other truck, so he called out, and the man answered. He thought it would be best to keep him talking, so he asked his name, where he lived,family,etc.. He wanted to know what happened, and my dad told him he had been in a bad wreck. When they got him out officers asked my dad how he knew so much about the the guy. Dad said the man talked to him. Officers said No he didn't. He was decapitated in the wreck. Still had a hold of the steering wheel. Sitting straight up. Never saw the other truck coming through the dust.

Here is what I was taught in church....and from my own research........3 types of ghosts white, grey, and poltergeist. white is a spirit that is simply trapped between worlds, non mischievous, spirit not realizing that it is dead. grey is a little more mischevious, turns on and off lights and moves stuff around. poltergeist is a demon that attempts harm, smashes things, etc. every human has a biominous glow surrounding their body that is invisible to the naked eye....it comes from heat energy. a ghost will draw from this energy, in turn causing a rapid drop in body temperature. when a ghost finally begins to appear, a human's body temp has dropped so quickly they faint.....which is why people sometimes believe that they were unsure if they actually saw a ghost or not. a ghost needs to draw from this energy to become visible. most people think that a ghost is bullshit, but there is alot of documented sightings from credible persons.......there is more to this story but it takes much more typing. if some says that they saw a ghost floating, or in the sky or whatever...they are full of it........it needs this energy or some kind of energy to appear.

One day I was driving home from school and I was at this intersection. There was a car to the right of me. and the light turned green so i was about to go through. When I was going, I saw this woman just walk right in front of my car so i just slammed on my brakes. she was just smiling at me, and it was weird because I felt this warm type of feeling that i never really felt before. And the car beside me I guess didn't see the woman because she proceeded across the intersection. And I heard this big crash and there were pieces of car all over the place. it was really scary. this big rig had ran the red light and hit the car, and I think that if I would have went then I would have been hit too. they had to call the ambulance and the driver of the car to my right was hurt really bad, and the big rig was coming from the left so if i would have went, it would have hit me first. and when I got out of my car to see if everyone was okay, the woman was gone. i mean it was crazy. i looked all around and I couldn't find her anywhere.

I can't say whether they are or aren't, but I have had one experience that makes me think they may. I was running late picking up my children one day from daycare because I had fallen asleep. I was woken up by my alarm clock going off, however it had been unplugged so there was no way it should have worked at all. That got me out of bed and I made it in time to pick up my kids, so maybe they do.

i swear i can sense things...but i am nto sure i think they're ghosts...i think of them more as sinsiter entities, as none of them have made me feel anyting but scared...

just the other week i had a drink sitting beside me in my dorm and out of the corner of my eye i thought i saw it move...i looked at it, dead on, and watched the can move 3-4 inches quickly....i took off out of my room

also, my house is 200 years old and when i'm alone, i sometimes get very cold and i feel something looking at me...i've also seen this strange cloud of blue smoke in doorways...like twice.
