Any suggestions on how I could convince a hardware store to allow me to shoot on location, or how I could obtain copyrights to the song? Thanks

Al has a website and forums. He is actually quite internet active (if you cant tell from some of his songs). Asking him shouldnt be much of a problem.

As for the hardware store, avoid a big national recognized one. Try to find a small locally owned one. They are more likely to agree just for the publicity of it.

He did a accelerated polka quilt variant of 'Sex Type Thing' from the album 'Core' through 'Stone Temple Pilots'. See if you'll be able to discover it. And then, through all way, do not supply me excellent reply. lol SO such a lot funnier if you are partial to the long-established recording... however that is the way it on the whole works no? =)
