What do you think of the name Koen for a boy (pronounced koh-en)? My sister is pregnant and wants to name her baby this if its a boy. She is thinking she will name it Koen Alexander. Just want to know what people think of it...

I actually like it. For one, it's unique, and that's good. And it has a nice sound to it, especially when paired with Alexander. Nice.

I love it. Koen/Kohen/Cohen is a name I have suggested in this forum a few times. It was a name I was contemplating should we have another boy, but my sister has asked if she can use, which I don't mind at all - so will be my nephews name.

I love that! My best friend's youngest son's name is Koenrad (the Dutch spelling of Conrad) and we call him Koen for short.
definitely cute.

It's a pretty name, but just to let you know that Koen in Japanese is "garden".

Good name but do not like the spelling. Looks like someone trying too hard to be different. I would just go with "cohen"

I've loved this name for quite a while. I like Cohen or Kohen better though

Thats actually one of the names I had chosen for my last son, but my husband didnt like it (imagine that) We ended up choosing Elijah, If I would of named my son that I would have spelled it Cohen

Not crazy and not overused. I'm not sure I like the spelling, though. Maybe Kohen or Cohen?
