Yes, I suppose. But it also works in the reverse. In my opinion Mary Kate & Ashley and Raven Symone were really cute kids. Now the twins are too thin, Raven is fate, and none are as cute as they were when they were little girls.

Yeah.....I'm kind of going through something like that right now. Everyone says that I'm pretty, but when I was younger, I was really ugly and used to get teased a lot. And now that I'm 19, and almost 20 in december, i haven't had a boyfriend yet. hopefully i'll have one soon

I don't know that there is a named syndrome but I think it happens when you're not looking. When you're a child looks can be awkward, especially as you're trying to find yourself. When a person is happy with the inside they can make the outside just as pleasant.

Anything is possible.... Yes it is called that as far as i have heard before...
But i wouldnt stress so much about it, no matter how you look you will find the person you love one day...
Isnt that why everyone is so afraid of not being gorgeous, because the ywant to find there significant other??? It should nt matter how you look the perfect one for you will come along.

Not all children are like that, right?
My sister is sooooo cute and she's only like 10.
that reminds me of a book i read, The Uglies. It's an interesting book, a bit similar to what you're saying.

You weren't "weird & ugly" you were "normal and a kid".
Many kids are gawky, pimply whimps who do not truly blossom until they are adults.
My best year for looks and charisma was 28.
And finally, high school sucks for many, don't buy the hype that it is the "best time" of your life, the best part is yet to come.

Yes, this happens to a lot of people. They grow into their beauty.
I've heard that all people go through an "ugly period" sometime in their lives, while they are growing up.
